The bus

Im hearing some Scandinavians chartered a bus to drive them home! Thats got to be one of the longest possible trips u can do within mainland Europe. Apparently some 45 hours to Stockholm. Knowing the Swedes though they´ll probably be piss drunk the whole trip so they won´t remember it anyway. :D
Confirmation anyone?
Yes its true, they have been on their way for 20 hours and they have something like 24 hours still.
We have opened a thread on paintball.se with ideas of how they can kill time.

According to Mellis all of them bought neckpillows and ****loads of booze before the trip. They payed aprox 15 000 Euros!!!! I have a feeling it wont be such a great profit for the bus company
in the end...

I heard there was no space on ferry or eurostar for a week, so i think thats why the coach didn't happen. But i may be wrong as did hear it on the news.

UK coach is happening, its just a day later than expected, Spike from GI Milsim is organising it to the best of my knowledge and pretty much all the Brits stranded are due back on it.

From what I gather from the news pretty much everybody who turns up at the ferry is getting back, I think the ferry companies have even lifted their foot passenger restrictions., Eurostar are putting on an extra 33 carriages a day to increase capacity.

On another note, my mum and my brother are in New York and were due to fly back today, Virgin have re-booked them for 2nd May

Is she one of the hand picked, pre approved passengers they are going to allow on board?
Nope, she has now booked on a coach to Calais tomorrow night which takes 24 hours
I am driving down to Folkestone and getting the Eurotunnel to pick them up from Calais on Friday

Im glad shes got a plan to get back.

The whole navy fiasco is just a poorly conceived election stunt.
Sounds great on paper but they shouldnt falsely raise peoples hopes for the sake of a bit of publicity.
