Hey, just got my first marker (proto slg) despite warnings of them breaking often. So i was wondering, starting from the bare essentials, what are guidelines for maintaining markers like replacing o-rings and any pre/post game necessities.

I would really appreciate some advice
Cheers

What I do is soon as I get back from training I'd take the gun apart wipe down all the parts get some 'Ear buds' clean the eyes, clean the 'Detents'. you might find it weird but I have an old toothbrush and I usually go over all the threads the barrel thread & then the 'oops' I will oil my gun after like 3 training sessions. The o-rings last quiet awhile I would only change them if you notice a split or a cut on the o-ring.

Anything else I missed ?

I don't have a Proto' or ever owned one but I assume you would do that same E.g cleaning parts of the gun.

The SLG is very easy to maintain yourself. The manual covers it well. Any problems
with the marker which don't appear to be explained in the manual, try on the tech
section.

I had two of 'em, good value for money especially when the trigger is set up right.
