I loved my egg. Never missed a beat. Flicked the switch, and it worked.
Dunno why everyone is complaining about 18bps feed being slow, what with the rof caps being below that.

Let me chip in by saying my egg never failed me either.

Biggest issue with the Egg was that they were (still are) pretty much designed for loading with your gun down and was never the easiest to pot & load!

Other than their fragility they were pretty reliable, Viewloader always made pretty decent loaders.
