Division 3 Rules

Division 3 is limited to 18 teams maximum per event. Order of registration/payment will decide, which teams may enter the tournament. Division 3 teams play 5 games in prelims, first team to score 2 points will win. So each game consists of minimum two points and maximum three points. The rounds are NOT played back-to-back, but with some rounds of other games in between, so teams have enough time to prepare for their next round even without large pit crew. Coaching and spectator interference will be allowed, all other rules of M7 RaceTo format apply. The top ranking team of each group plus the best runner's up will qualify for the semifinals (4 teams in total). Division 3 will play Saturday and Sunday only.

This is not what we signed up to. We were never communicated the change in rules. As far as we were told it would be Race to 2 Format that we played in Paris in 2009 which was awesome. Now its a glorified M5 format for €200 extra!

Div 3
Minimum amount of points (not games) = 10 points against 5 teams (6 teams per group)
Max amounts of points = 15 points against 5 teams (if all games need a decider game)

Min if you go to finals = 14 points (4 teams go through to finals after prelims)
Max if you go to finals = 21 points

Price: €750 + VAT

M5
Min amounts of games = 10 games against 10 teams
Max if you go to finals = 12 games against 12 teams

Not a silly question at all, no, there isn't.
OK, so being a bit Mr Spock about it and thinking logically, how can they ref the event if the teams are not in possession of the up to date rules? Thinking slightly further ahead, why don't they just provide teams with copies of the refs rule books or do the refs not have up to date rules either.........no that would just be crazy?

Inconsistency between refs on different fields at Millennium events surely not............
