We have some additional surprises that we hope to be able to announce in the coming weeks relating to this event.

The game scenario will be based on a Mission Improbable theme.

The IMB (Improbable Missions Bureau) are led by Ethan Punt (Al Murray - Tippmann UK) and they will battle against the deadly GSS (Global Security Services) led by Owyn Davian (Tony Lindasy - Scottish Warriors).

We are delighted to have the two most influential players in UK Scenario paintball over the past five years leading each of the sides.

With one of the UK's very best paintball sites, the UK's best game organiser and the full weight of Tippmann Sports behind this event - it promises to be quite a weekend!

Please visit the event website on www.tippmannchallengeuk.com for full event information.

anyone froms cotland heading to this ?
or any organised busses etc ?
This maybe of interest:

Flights from Glasgow to Gatwick are currently £76.

We'll arrange to get your bags from Glasgow to the site and back via road (so you don't go over your baggage allowance).

We'll even pick you up from Gatwick airport and take you to Holmbush and then back to the airport afterwards to catch your flight home.

Can't say fairer than that! :)

Alternatively, if the flight is a bit expensive for you - drop us a line from the contact form on the website and we'll probably be able to find you a lift from Scotland. There will be dozens of players travelling down to the game from Scotland so we could ask around for you.

Hope this helps.

If anyone else needs help getting to the game, drop us a line. If we can help - we will. ;)

Firstly, we'd like to say how excited we are about being asked to work on this event. It's a great honour for us that a global paintball brand as big as Tippmann would want us to run their flagship game in the UK. With the amount of planning resource going into this event, we're confident that it'll be something pretty exciting for all the players who attend.

It's Tippmann's first ever 'Tippmann Challenge' game in the UK and they are determined to establish the event as one of the main games in the calendar over the next few years.

At Shoreline we've been saying for a while that we think there should be more Big Games in the South of the country and it was one of the main reasons why we located ThunderDome in the South East two years ago. That game attracted over 200 players and cemented our belief that we can build on that start and try and build a decent sized event in the South.

Tippmann and Shoreline will not be the only companies putting this weight behind this new event. We'll have some really exciting announcements in the coming weeks regarding the other companies who will be partnering on this event. If all goes to plan, there will be some ground breaking involvement from companies outside of the industry to make the event something a bit different.

The event will run from the Saturday afternoon for the rest of the weekend. On Saturday we'll be running 'retro' games for pump and pistol players. If you don't own a pump, we'll rent you one for a fiver and include some paint as well. We've got 40 pumps available - so with the guys who bring their own pumps and pistols, we can get some decent sized games going. For those who have been around a while - it'll be like going back 20 years.

To add value, we'll also be offering free lasertag and free airsoft games on the Saturday. So if you find yourself with nothing to do for an hour, give it a go. It's a bit of fun and something a bit different - and it's free!

We can confirm that Gringo will be bringing his Tequila Shack. We're always at a bit of a loss to explain who Gringo is and what he does - but the best thing to do is take a look at his page on our Shoreline website (in the Wedding Day Massacre section) - you'll get the idea. He'll also be running his world famous Bomb Sauce Challenge. Again, just take a look at the website so see what it's all about.

The Tippmann Challenge UK also has it's own Facebook page where updates and competition will be featured.

We look forward to seeing many of you guys there. You don't want to miss it.
