I thought everybody knew that I have retired but I still get alot of questions about it that may need to be explained.

The team will continue witch makes me happy and I will off course help them in any way possible.
But for me 2009 was the last season as a coach.
Im still the "owner" if it such thing as owning a paintball team

I wish the boys good luck in the future and will closely follow the results from home, and for everybody else. We will surely see eachother at some event somewhere

Mag

I first met Mag over 15 years ago when he cowardly shot me up the ass in Sweden.
We became friends and have been ever since.
He has been one of the most successful and charismatic individuals in world paintball and will be sorely missed.

I have an enormous amount of respect for him both as a player and a coach.
I competed against him many times as both player and coach and in all that time, he conducted himself like a true pro.
He is one of the few people outside of the US who really took it to the Yanks and competed at the top gaining respect from everybody in proball.

What he achieved with Joy was truly fantastic, he is one of an elite group of European individuals who have made their marks on both sides of the Atlantic and I am proud to have had him as my friend and competitor ... a truly great guy and a truly great baller.

Apart from knowing him as a friend, my post would read very similar. Having played against Joy many times, initially with Mag playing, Ive got to say I hold Joy and Mag with the utmost respect. Always played fair, and always very exciting to watch.

All the best for the future Magued, thanks for the games, it was a blast!

Magued, It has been an absolute pleasure buddy. As everyone else has already said you are one of the few people in Paintball that is truly genuine. A decent guy who, as Pete put it, is part of that European Elite that showed ballers both sides of the Atlantic that they meant business.

I remember my first event against you guys, Portugal I believe when I was playing for Reebok DMX. We all laughed when we saw the leopard print until there was multiple mugging’s on the field as you trounced us. Little did we know then what was starting and thank god it did and that it will continue.

There are two great plays in paintball that I mention in conversation and the Joy guys were responsible for one of them - the simultaneous mugging of Chris Lasoya at the first Campaign Cup in Basildon, both players just ran through the middle on either side of him and he had no chance. It was an instinct moment that no doubt was inspired at some point by the training instilled in them.

Your team are good ambassadors for our sport and I always enjoy the parties that I eventually get to when we’ve finished pack down!! You have always kept your sponsors interests at heart and for me that was one thing that made Joy stand out more than the rest. See you soon mate and for sure I’ll take you up on that Diving trip soon. See you at Mash when we get the training finally sorted.
