Player Representative

If you read the Federation Meeting Notes from the 4th March you may have noticed this:

It was agreed that the Fed should invite representation from the player base to attend the Fed committee meetings, and members agreed to establish a process for the players to elect the representative(s). It is expected this will increase transparency and help facilitate a position of trust and co-operation between the Fed and the player base.

So to start the ball rolling we would like people to put potential candidates forward for who YOU would want to represent the players. Once a short list has been decided we will have an on-line vote and the chosen one or two will be invited to a Fed meeting in due course.

The Federation is committed to making things better and transparent and we believe this will be a move in the right direction.

Ledz, considering the way the last few votes have gone, can I have a say in what's going on please mate?



Mind you Ledz, don't you and all the other board members reside in my pocket according to some people???

It's nice to see the Federation has such democratic principles embedded in it no matter what these idiots suggest - even though I do seem to get outvoted most of the time

Lump is a great candidate who interacts between experienced as well as the non experienced players. Someone with all round quality, rather than looking at things from one end of the field.

Got to agree Lump is a fantastic candidate, he walks the walk and talks the talk. He gets involved with the tournament scene and interacts with all and sundry when there. Gets my vote.

I think twizz is an great choice for a rep ether way but it would be good to have 2 sets of rep's from north and south

We all know what a great guy lump is, but i think with him being a mod as well i think you should keep the two different have some one neutrail.

I think it should be some one who has played at all levels and has no ties with any one and should be voted in then nothing can be said in the long run.

If you get my point dont want to be negative just an opion.

Mods are extremely neutral, some probably more than others and in 2009 Lump probably played or attended more UK events than any other player in the country, who better could you suggest.
