I thought this got was already being sold. Sure I saw a video of it in use...

Not sure about legality........... it is kinda like running around with a camper stove with a pipe attached to it.

More importantly does it belch fire with every shot ? Night games could get rather interesting........

New Patent Granted

Would anyone know if this would actually be illegal here in UK or Europe?
Shoot a paintball through a mature pig? Which is deemed equivalent to a human body:eek:
If the projectile shell was thick enough to withstand the explosive blast then the ball would not therefore be frangible.
In the UK a paintball gun is classed as a toy as it fires frangible rounds, so lets pray it's deemed as illegal, but hey the law has its vagaries :D

How far away is "poisson d'avril" ;)

the combustion chamber on these is sealed, no flame spitting capability I'm afraid. the explosion powers the bolt/air compression to fire the ball and it aint half as "leathal" as the article suggests. the propane tank on the gun is the only worry I would have but its unlikely you could get it to blow up if your just playing paintball.
