when i first started playing i'd use videos like techpb as a reference point for basics, like learning how to superman (don't land on knees, palms up etc) or tips on snap shooting. The best way to learn though is to just practice yourself or with your team. you can only learn so much by watching

Play or train with/against and watch good teams playing is a good way to learn.

Watching dvd/videos give you some imagination and a couple of ideas but don't help you that much as you only see the action, not what is happening in the complete field.

deffo! helps alot!
just watching and taking notes of how the pros play really benefits you! their sliding techniques..
such as this video in particular
.
when you watch it, it just makes you think oh i'll remember that for next time, when my snake player is gone or whatever i'll fill in...

drills and technique one with the gun is good

past PSP webcasts for watching pro games as have good coverage. as thib said, playing and watching the best teams is the best way to learn. you arent likely to get much field time against the russians or impact, and unless you want to go stateside for an event you arent going to be able to watch them any other way.. SK moscow also have a youtube channel which has a lot of full length cpl games, with decent coverage

like mentioned there are a range of videos like the techb and one with a gun vids that give a really good fundamental grasp on the basic aspects of the game. it only works if somebody is able to take what they watch and apply it on the field, because nobody will get good just by watching videos. what it does do is give a good range of things to think about when playing as opposed to running onto a field and just seeing what happens :p
