Your recomendations of plastic paint

Dear all

i have just took delivery of a clear halo - looking ot spray it black or red to keep ol judges off my back.

Any suggestions which is is the best stuff - looking at more permanance than bling

Apparently, that rear light tinting spray works really well...you can get red and smoke, just add more layers to get the effect you want...spray the inside.

try halfords ripspeed section.

tint - ok is tint legal?? ill be honest this is my first clear loader so never even really paid attention to what leagal and whats not - the more layers the more solid the color i take it

Krylon Fusion, or RIT dye,

do a search on here, it has been discussed in the tech forum loads.

Yep, i believe tom allen did one...much easier and quicker than dye.

car light tint spray...yes, more layers = darker...do it, you know it makes sense.

apparently it is not legal in the NPPL, if i remember right. not a problem for most of the UK ballers though.

Plastikote spray works well...

As does the rudeboi car light tinting stuff.

It depends on the effect you are after.

Green Light bars under the motor tray because I think I'm in F&F

im just after something that will fcuking stay on - don't really care whether it looks life somes dropped the contents of their anus in it - would like solid colour mind as i dont really wanna gamble with judges

I've used this product from Tamiya.

Tamiya color PS range, polycarbonate paint. This stuff etches into the plastic, and cannot be removed. I've sprayed an egg, one side smoke and one side black, on the inside. It does not degrade from paint, or wear, this stuff is tuff.

Most model shops sell it.
