Your game, Your field.

The Breif:
Looking at a thread made by a friend I had an idea. If everyone gives tips and information foward, people might start creating sites on there land, and even if they don't, we can still have fun imagining.

The Task:
So, the task here, is to provide links, resources, ideas, tips and any information on building paintballing sites. This could be anything from where to buy cheap props, to an idea for a scenario. The best idea will be showcased in the post after this. All other sensible ideas will be in the following threads.

Happy Hunting.

because a monkey could run capture the flag :)

We've been trying out scenarios and theme games for a couple of months. Feedback is 100% positive and the recballers get a lot more for their money than eight charges down a muddy field counting how much cash they just pumped into a bush.

You put the effort in, they respect you for it, enjoy it more and every rec-ball day feels like an event.
As for understanding it........ we do it well, plus each team is given a printed briefing sheet and a five minute "planning session" before the game starts. As well as the standard verbal briefing.

What gets more attention? Stories about how you "shot six of the opposition" (wooo, that'll impress the girls back home) or the story about how the first wave of your attack failed when a six foot furry bat leaped over a bush in the middle of your charge, causing the first player to laugh so hard he wet himself.
We get the group organisers dressed up, we pick out specific players and give them special tasks we've tried all kinds.
The day has more structure and we leave feeling better about it too.
Try it, use your imagination. Other bonus is, site markers are notoriously innacurate.......... but if the games objective isn't simply "run up there shooting" it doesn't show and the players don't get frustrated. Additionaly, as the games have set objectives, you can tailor how long each takes........ that means a "ten minute game" can be made to last ten minutes........ players may not fire as fast, but they will fire as much.. they just get more of an experience for their cash.
