Okay, so my plane lands in London on friday morning. My hotel is in central London. Can anyone tell me the best way to get to Crystal Palace using public transport?

London where, Heathrow or Gatwick? Heathrow - London Underground Piccadilly Line to Green Park then change to Victoria Line to Victoria station. Trains run from there to Crystal Palace, see this thread for directions from the station to the site. Gatwick is even easier - Gatwick Express to Victoria mainline station then change there.

I won't be able to come straight from the airport. Gotta dump my stuff and the wife at the hotel
which is in the center of London. So I guess it's back to Victoria station from there and on to CP.

If you don't go via Victoria station, you can also get there via London Bridge I belive its the line that goes to East Croydon straight past CP.

1. When wearing sandals and shorts - remove ones socks first
2. When wandering the streets with Camcorder surgically attached to your eye (no nothing to do with the legion - looking forward to watching them play) look out for pot-holes and short people.
3. Wearing a orienteering map holder around ones neck is a dead give away
