Year of cocker?

Where in Ohio are you? If there is a groove on both the left and right sides of the gun it is a 2001. Look at pictures of new cockers, if your back block does not look like those do then it is 1999 or older.
Well the owners manual says 2000, the box says 2001, and if it matters, the last two #s in the serial number are 02. Owell I think its a 01. Im in Twinsburg. If you never heard of it, its about 30 min south of Cleveland.
It is a 2001. The box is right. The manual is the 2000 one because there were no major changes from 200 to 2001
