Hey guys.


was thinking of getting one of these but i have been told you need at least 8ft in from your tv for this to be any good.

Is this true? i only have a small room so would a wii be better?

Its 7 foot from your tv then about 4 feet either side And you cant have ANYTHING in the area of play. Due to get some of these in at work soon. cant say that they are totally impressive. the 'casual' gamer that these are marketed for dont have the space to have one unless they wish to have an empty room with just their xbox set up.

I think the recommended is 6-8 feet from tv and it prefers closer to 8-10ft. You do not need 4ft either side but it is helpful.

If you want a motion style of gaming and have limited space then a Wii or PS3 Move will be much easier to live with.

PS3 and Wii would be easier but they are near enough the same thing the Move is more Ergonomic, maybe its me but the Wii-Remote just seems a tad more responsive. To be fair ive only tested like 2 games that require move.

Its KINECT. And it is pretty good fun in with your mates

Just bought mine today and will be playing tonight. I aslso bought dance cental but have to wait for delivery of that off amazon

It's 6 feet is the recommened distance

btw the ps3 move and also kinect will be sold out this xmas so get one asap if you want one

in my opinion it's overpriced, and there aren't many good games which utilise it yet so i don't see much point in getting it as blac ops is keeping my hooked atm

I always feel disapointed with COD as battlefield desert combat has everything and COD has nothing

Theres only some developing Kinect at the moment. If they are its probly alpha stages. Id hold out on Kinect until it drops or buy it as a bundle with the new slimline xbox if you dont have it already.
