I want to know who prefers what?
We're currently playing 7 man Millenium series Div1 as Just Manchester.... Does anyone care?? Er thats my point, is there any point playing the 7 man anymore? Would it make a difference if we won it? Or should we concentrate on throwing our hat into the new X-Ball arena before we fall behind the teams that have already made the jump?

I need the voices of the teams that are currently playing both formats and have some experience in them..

Did the teams that played in Div 1 both X-Ball and 7man enjoy it and think it was worth all the money and hard work they've put in preparing for the events??

Whats the future in your opinion?? 7Man or X-ball

Peace

I think my opinion isnt really valid as i have not played x-ball. But after reading about other peoples thoughts and Nexus missing Tampa bay to be more committed to the EXL, is a big step and a blind one at that. To be souly committed to one event is a good thing, as you can capitlize on becoming a better team in that particluar format. But what format? is purely gonna be your own and your teams decision. If you get into X-Ball now, you stand the chance of becoming a televised team, which in the long run will good for you's and your sponsors. But if it never happens, then all that time training for x-ball and all that money spent on x-ball has been wasted.

The balance between sticking with either 7-man or X-Ball rests with ability for the format and its teams being televised. If it doesnt, well thats a gamble your gonna have to take!, like so many other teams!! :(

Peace :)

Darren

Ps.Hope that helps abit ;)

We may not be playing Tampa dude, but that doesnt mean we're forfeiting the series ;) We'll mos def be at some Super7's events this year :)

The Uk Jags went through the same thought process at the end of last season. We opted for the Xball option after looking at the Quality of the teams that had signed up for open Xball
.
In our view you can only reach the top by playing teams that are better than you. You will never achieve anything by being the big fish in a small pond.

If Xball breaks big, which we hope it does we will be at least a season in front of the teams we left behind in 7 man.

If it goes to the wall then we drop back to 7 man with a season of playing the top end Euro teams and the likes of Dynasty and ME under our belts

The costs Involved can be Large if you do not have good Sponsership packages but the costs can be reduced by having a larger squad (say 15)

It is an awsome format to play and even if you do not do a whole series try an event, you will not regret it!

Cheers to our sponsers who made it all possible.

Chuck.

Find a few more players, sweet talk Jim & Gill and come knock heads with us.

7-Man's getting boring, too much sitting and waiting (in game and out)

X-ball the way baby no doubt about it.

however i still think 7 man will be the most popular due to teams not being able to travel to x ball tournaments or
have the sponsors the backing etc etc,

its more aggressive and faster but also demands more physical fitness.

Ronnie you should be playing it dude

I think Xball is much better than 7man for both players and spectators.

But 7man is still good though, i enjoy 7 man but you dont get the same buzz u get from Xball
