This is something that has been talked about for a while, they're running a tourney like this next weekend in Montreal, (Canada for the geographically challenged) so i'll be able to witness first hand how it plays out.

Might be an idea to consider playing in Europe? It should certainly be more affordable.

There are two small leagues running in Spain using this format and people seems to like it. I have some concerns on the penalties not moving on to the next point (I think it doesn't balance ok as in the "big XBall"), hadn't played it yet thought

Syd in the NSPL has got an idea for this at one of the next legs, check on the NSPL forum www.southwestpaintball.co.uk/forum for more details mate, you might be able to find some info. A damn good idea i say!
