x-ball finals field

What is it col? The field for the WC Xball? Looks like a pretty close copy of the field used at CC for the Xball? What are the little things on either side of the X?

look like little logs stood up like the forest on the splatch field at Campaign Cup.
It does look a lot like the Campaign Cup x-ball field. I really like this field, it seems to solve a lot of the problems that teams had about the x-ball field at campaign cup.
It has a lot of good elements here, bump up lanes out to the tapes, a solid snake that provides lots of good action
low back line baracades, and this time they've stood the x which was the main dislike of x-ball teams at Campaign cup, (the 7 man teams however seemed to like it)
It's got a lot more bunkers than the NXL layouts in the past should be very interesting!
Hopefully Manike will tell us how it plays when he gets back from the Cup.
or we could replicate this field down at Campaign and try it out ourselves!

It's going to be very hard for NXL teams to be able to build this field and learn how to play it,
basically they're going to all have to order a shed load of those log thingies.

..i cant see the real benefits of those log thingies, apart from minimising your chances of getting hit, whilst running behind them.
quite impractical too, a bi*ch to inflate the whole time, and set up, also has anyone thought of how the bunker cleaning ninja's will feel?....this feild will need a 10 min break between games for that alone! -or have painty bunkers

I thought they were there to wipe the hits off your legs as you ran through them!
Couldn't you simulate the effect with a bunch of Logs (pref. with the bark still on) and have an x-ball/woods crossover
