RIGHT

Steve,

Let's get ONE THING clear shall we.........ENGLAND is not the only part of the UK that can play paintball!!!!!!!!!!!

Phew...

Escarmouche - Ireland - 3rd Place Campaign Cup 2001

Cameronians - Scotland - 2nd Place European Indoor Entry Level 2001

Cameronians - Scotland - 3rd Place European Indoor Novice Level

NOW can we please refer to this X-Ball team as UK regardless if it does end up being an English Team.

If the entire UK try out and the best players come from England then yes, that is understandable due to the law of averages, but please, please please, there is more to the UK than your own back garden.

Thanks Beaker for the England (UK) Team mate.

Now everyone chill out as Alien is buying the beers

;)

WTF for this time:eek: Its time you put your hand in your purse (or is it a sporran) :D

but you are right Sid even if you did leave out WALES from this thread, From what i've seen so far we're better at paintball than rugby:p

The problem is not just of our doing.

I know when Richmond thought up the idea and got team jerseys designed etc he did use "England" not "UK". That's why all the initial emphasis was on the "England" squad.

I know Robbo was investigating if it will change to UK - hence my England (UK) bit as I am unsure of what we are going to be.

Personally, I don't care if the best players come from Scotland, Wales, N Ireland or England. As long as the best team from this fair isle goes over the pond and kicks butt then I'm happy :)

See you Sunday Sid (and anyone else from here who is going).

on a purely practical note though, there are relatively few sports where we play as UK (or GB) athletics is the only one which comes to mind. And that is odd as it's usually individuals not teams

In other team sports (Football, Rugby etc etc) we generally play as England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales.

So while being all inclusive is great, it isn't actually set down in precedent.
