We do not recommend doing the RF transmitter installation yourself unless you are an experienced air smith with soldering skills.
If you are confident that you can do the install the leads of the RF transmitter must be soldered inline with the solenoid onto the circuit board of the marker. The leads are non polarity so they can be soldered on either way. The RF transmitter is also non polarity so it can be plugged in either way.
The leads to solder for a Shocker are the rear most leads on the board attached to the solenoid. To ensure the wires don't interfere with the on/off switch we suggest looping the wires underneath the board and feeding them through into the grip frame where there is lots of room for the transmitter.
The leads to solder to on an Ion are the leads on the sides of the board below the large resistor on the front. They are the leads that go to the coil on the back.
The transmitter fits beside the hoses, above the trigger pin.
Egos and the Matrix line are basically the same install. The leads are soldered to the back of board from where the solenoid harness plugs into. These are the easiest of all markers to do.
