I tell you, being in the southern hemisphere where we are 5 weeks from Xmas and just coming into Summer is VERY strange on my English sensibilities.

In my area, one of the fields holds a 3 man tournament every year called Snowball. It's in winter, but it never seems to have snow on the ground, for some reason. On the one year that there was, they used a trashcan as a mold to make a snow snake. It was pretty cool.
