Would this be possible??

I just have a quick question.
Is there a magazine or a leaflet or anything else, which I could use to show people what paintball is?? I always carry a PGI with me, but it doesnt really explain what the sport is, and thats basically what people wanna know. I mean a magazine with many pictures of every different move of a game. For example a few of a breakout, a few of slides and dives, a few of bunquerings, and so on. And also a litte article explaining the basic rules, and the basic tactics

PGI gives you all that.. and then some!

explainin the general idea of the game isnt too hard... if it was half of Quake wouldnt have picked it up in the first place...

What a good idea! Contact some photographers, write up a good explanation, and publish it like a one shot magazine. You could advertise it in any mag, because it is not really competition, since it isn't a periodical. I will buy 5 copies when you get done, because I will wear them out in short order explaining things to everyone.

You know, a tournament handbook and explanation could be useful in training, too.

Fred, pgi produced such a flyer which was to be given free to site owners to distribute to their customers - it explained what the game was about and how to take it further. Guess what? Not a single onwer we canvassed would take them.

Huh, free, what a dirty word!!!

Perhaps thats the kind of apathy that keeps paintball a minority sport in this country compared to the U.S.?

It's not apathy ian, it's fear and self-interest.... but to be honest, i don't blame them. I'd probably do the same. I think we all would.

True, I guess with so few sites catering for anything other than rental players they have no desire for people to move further into the sport.

Still a shame though!
