Worth it, or will they screw up my barrel?

Surely, if the soft loops are on the ball and the stiff hooks (don't laugh) are on the target....no scratches?

its only the back section that takes any friction from the ''ball'' so i doubt it would make any difference to be honest.

i guarantee you after a short time you would notice a massive difference.

if you have like a stock barrel or something... then use that, then, if there is a potential to screw something up; then you can use that and see how it goes, and its no fuss if it does wreck it. just a nice little idea

So are you saying that the 'ball' never touches the front section?

i think he's saying that because, if you have a three piece or an accurate ball to 2 piece back section... then the major friction will be in the back, where the ball touches the barrel all around. but in the front, because it can take from a .695+ and downwards... there will be more room for the ball not to touch the sides. does that make sense???
