NEW FOR THIS YEAR:

1)Div 4 will be available for newbie teams

2)This year we intend to reward the best and the courageous in the "Best from Nation Award".For every nation that is represented by a team,we will be giving out an award for the best team from that country.

It will be given the due recognition in all the media coverage that we intend to get for the event.

It will be judged in the following manner:

1)Division a team has registered in.
2)Performance in that division.

eg.
Even if a team from a country gets last in a higher division...it will still get the award despite the performance in other teams from the same country in a lower division.

If all the teams from that country is in the same division,the best performing one will be awarded.

THESE AWARDS MAY VERY LIKELY COME WITH BONUS PRIZES FROM SPONSORS!!!

World Cup Asia - Attending Teams

THE THEME FOR THE WORLD CUP ASIA 2009 SHALL BE:



"Where Stars are Made..." in line with the teams that has obtained recognition after having success competing in the PALS.Teams like Datis,Reapers & Infernal who have won the the WCA before..

With this theme in mind...we are going to go media crazy with this year's event and would like to invite teams from the various countries to invite their national media over to cover the event or the team's adventures during the WCA 2009.

Passes will be provided for them and we will be setting aside 3 hotel rooms(triple sharing room) from the 19th till the 22nd for such a purpose for the first 9 to confirm attendance.We will also ensure that they get the best possible treatment during their stay here.

Pitch in and make use of the event to bring about progress for our sport in your country!!

With 120 teams pledged..we are now closing the 1st round registration of the World Cup Asia 2009.

All 120 teams are now required to fill in your registration forms and return them to us.Registration payment to be made in full by the 4th of Sept.(Team/ID Card etc)20 teams have already made their payment to date..before we even asked.

International teams who are unable to expedite payment to us by that date must show proof of having booked their flights to Malaysia(all team remembers).Extension will then be made for you till the 30th September at the very latest.

All international teams who have already made plans to come in but have forgotten or ommitted to inform us should get in touch with me Paul Email: paul@palseries.org Cell +6012 2184333 immediately so that we may accomodate your team/teams.

AFTER THE SEPT 4TH DATELINE....ALL TEAMS WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED THEIR REGISTRATION WILL LOSE THEIR RESERVATION RIGHTS AND WE WILL GIVE UP THEIR SPOTS TO OTHER TEAMS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.

Malaysian teams that have missed the cut off for this round of registration should get in touch with me immediately as I will be keeping and off the record list of teams in waiting to be used upon the dateline on the 4th of Sept.

Please take note that this is the 1st time we will be handling a tourney that exceeds 100 teams with an all time record of international teams in attendance.Registration for this event is not as per our normal league events.
