What is Woodsball?
Simple it is a 10 man woodland tournament - "back to basics"
When and Where?
In 2006 we will be holding three events hopefully at three different locations around the country
Sunday 15 January - Skirmish J20 - Leicester
Sunday 28 May - Powerplay Wakefield
Sunday 12 November - Venue to be confirmed
Format?
There will be limit at each event - probably 10 -12 teams
We want to have teams based around scenario teams, rec ball site teams and if they want to have a go tournament (sup'air ball format) teams.
10 - man is one of the classic woodland paintball formats and it means BIG fields with plenty of trees and cover (not so much in winter) will be used
Cost?
The entry fee for the Woodsball events will be £275 per team (£27.50 per player) including air and CO2. There will be trophies at each event plus some other prizes (on field)
How do we book in?
To book in call Steve on 0845 130 6258, you will also need to pay a £50 deposit.
Air - Paint ?
Air will be supplied at all events and site paint will be available from the event sponsors. I do not know about trade stands but I am sure their will be one or two.
Is it a series and do we have to play all three?
Yes it is a series but you can play one, two or all three events. There will be a trophy for the overall series winner but there is no commitment required from teams to play all three events.
Supported by?
The Woodsball series is being supported by Atmosphere paintball, X-ball, Skirmish J20, PBUK and Powerplay paintball.
Apology
I was hoping to have my web page for this event published this week on www.series2006.co.uk but it has not happened. It will be done in the new year and will have further information including hotels etc...
