I'm guessing they'd be U.S. but they could have been a few of the new AH-64D's that are just entering UK service

And to bring this back to paintball I do know that one of the guys who helped design the Apaches Helmet Gunsights is a keen 'baller (or so I was once told)

Okay it's a tenuous link but it might keep the Moderators at bay for a little while :)

Hmmmmm

Walker, I reckon they were actually police choppers hunting down Cooks after his 3 day armed mini-bike robbing spree around wrexham. There aint no way theyda caught tha fool, the boy can motor on that bike. :p

Yes, I'm bored.

Walker where do you live?
The chances are that they were the British apaches as they are now active and were on exercise near woodbridge a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't worry about the dogs going mad I would worry more about them falling out of the sky, Given the current problems of the U.K.'s defence. Don't get to used to seeing them though as the Health and Safety man will probably ground them before long for some stupid reason. Why Oh why can't we be the 51st state?

Apaches

The RAF has a number of Apaches, and the Army Air Corps has just aquired a number with teh latest "Hellfire" (AT missile) system. So it could have been either. The AAC can't use the Hellfire because the laser used for missile guidance blinds the human eye real fast.

I saw one fly at the Army 2002 day at Lark Hill on Sunday (you should see those things maneuver!). The Paras had an assault course thing at the end the kids had to shoot a target with paintball markers....

You see EVERYTHING has to do with paintball
