About half way down linked page start reading Manike's comments and check out ad.
Idea is adustable on the fly method for spinning paintballs by different degrees and at different angles to cause paintballs to curve. Lesser increments can achieve "flatline" like results as well.

Do you like it?

Will you buy it?

Will the big tourney series ban it's use?

Will it turn out to be another paintball novelty item like the warp feed?

i think its only a novelty item, you could only really use it pointing down and that would stop you being able to arch paint over things as well.

If that's allowed in competition play then I'll lose what little respect I have left for "professional" paintball today. What the hell is the point in having bunkers? Why don't we just line up 10 feet away in parallel lines and shoot at each other? Very sad that the people at the highest levels in this game are only interested in finding new ways to cheat, lose hits and find any unfair advantage possible instead of relying on their skill and playing like gentlemen.

I don't buy it, Si... unless a minimum of three pro teams are sponsored by BT all of a sudden. Even then, it's iffy. We are talking about a piece of equipment that requires acquisition of a new skill, and paintball is moving in the direction of eliminating skills.

good idea for rec baller and scenario players.

i don't think it will be taken up much at tourneys as people would rather just lash down 15 bps than actually take the time to fiddle with their barrel settings.

will wait until i see one in action. not badly priced though, $140 or so? about 80 quid? worth a go i suppose. i think it would be a good thing for those tourney players who still go to the walk on days and big games etc where rof is not so important.

hmm this puzzles me , how would they get this to work , how would they time the barrel exactly to curve into the bunker when there all seperated all over the fields , i think this wouldnt work , how the hell would they get it to curve exactly behind a bunker and then as u move to the next one do it again but the space between them would be further or less?

Paintball is going in the way of substituting technology for skills - which is exactly what this would do.
