Will NTSC format work on a UK XBOX 360?

Hey thinking of purchasing the new nppl game except if i order it from america it will be NTSC format will it work on my good old english xbox 360?

I don't think it does. Wheras with ps3 there is no "ntsc" "pal" or the Japanese equivalent anymore, microsoft still tell you which format it is. This implies theres a reason for it....


Edit:Just googled, region locked games will not work on other region consoles.

I've ordered Championship Paintball 2009 for 360 and Wii

When I receive them, I will confirm if they work on my UK sourced consoles

PS3s are region locked but most of the game manufacturers have chosen not to place the locks on their software yet.

mcvities: There is no PAL PS2 version of greg hastings maxd, it will not work unless you have a chipped ps2/use special software which we can not discuss on this forum.
