Why???

Why do rec players consider a field marshall to be a portable bunker? Do they not realise its not big and its not clever to do this and it just jars the marshall off. Hell today I even had two players using me as a bunker and when i moved away they followed me to my next location. Is there any way to combat this problem

Carry something like a punisher and splatter them yourself?? I don't know Tortoise, I would think that penalizing them in some way would help. Just don't know how to penalize them for that though.

Usually when I ref I get down on my belly, and if they're low I'm out of bounds looking at them. If you carry a squeegee, which we'd do at the field that I used to ref at, give them a good whack across the back of the head if they do in fact deliberately try to use you as a bunker. Bad dog, no biscuit!

You could:
a) Kick them up the arse
b) walk further away from the opposition
c) get some of those bright yellow cycling jackets and put them on them if they continue to follow you.

Just wait until you get a stream of paint coming at you, and hit the deck, allowing them to get pummelled... or the other option is to call them out of the game for a shot on the boot

just use r 'old spice' deodrant.that will sort it out m8.lol.
or warn the team before hand that if ne one use's u as a bunker then u will strap them to a tree and let the other team light them up like a xmas tree.

Hey, that is what i would do. Make sure the paint has a nice thick fill to it. And shoot them where it hurts........but not where its painfully paralyzing, if you catch my drift.

during the safety brief before we ever get started we tell them that if anyone uses a ref as cover to advance on the other team or to hide from paint then they will be eliminated from play.... we rarely have to invoke that rule...
