you'd think in this day and age with all the high street store doing it and its every were you look, and the fact paintball has grow and keeps growing that at least one of these stores would offer finance. buy now and spread the cost its unbeliveable that none of them offer this servics

probably because you would get dreamers buying super expensive markers. and also if 1000 people ordered a marker on finance from somewhere like eclipse then it would make a big dent in their profit until its all paid off i guess

not the way finance works really. they would actually make more in commission from finance sales.

wondered about it myself many times before!!

the way it works is, you sell the product on finance, the finance company pays you the money and a commission, then they make their money on the interest you pay over the term of the loan.

the only thing is people change their markers that bloody often it would cause problems, buying a new one while still paying for the old one!

finance is starting to take off in US stores, and it works like a charm.
WDP used offer in in thier store back in the early 90's.

The vendor can actually make an extra 5% and they get paid straight away, those that can't keep up the payments are a problem for the finance companies, not the vendors.
It a completely sensible and business savvy thing to do, which is probably the reason it is not more readily available in the UK...

i think it is unethical to let addicts build up debts, by offering them their fix on credit.

We used to offer finance, but finance companies have a problem with "Guns" and they stopped Planet using it about 3 years ago. It is something that i might look into again. I wish i could offer finance but it has to be at a good rate the last time we did it was 29.9apr which is very high, we just told people to get a credit card make your order and cut the thing up. It would be a lot cheaper than finance. But things might have changed. If anyone has any info PM me and I’ll see what i can do.

good to see

i find it good to see that the owners of a great manufacturer of markers is involved.

i didn't know wether i was writing about crap or something worth while.

And LEDZ even though i once said to you i didnt like your markers it was 5 years ago and i was only 15 and a bit jelous but.

i have grown to realise how lucky i am to own one of your markers be that it is second hand as i didnt have the money at the time to buy a brand spankin new one.

i would happly buy one on finance payin as much as i could up front to lessen the monthly repayment
