Every time I take my gun apart to clean it I am always left with either a washer or small spring. if ti carries on like this much longer within months I will be down to a metal shell!!!!!!!!

It's murphy's law... or one of the corollararies... but don't worry, the law states that whenever u take ANYTHING apart and reassemble it, there will be parts left over... and if you do it enough times, you'll have enough parts to make two markers...

I've rebuilt several cockers and never come up with spare parts. I've stripped my angel down to just the body, put it back together and never had any spare parts either. Maybe your cocker's parts are breeding and reproduce themselves! In this case, you are lucky, as you will never run out of spare parts.
