why is a 5000psi tank now billed as a 4500 tank??

no,itsjust a lot of tnaks ive seen that used tobe called5000 psi are now called4500. takemy brand new pure energy fibre wrap. nowcallled a 4500,not a5000.

perhaps it justs more to manufactor 5k than 4.5k although a lot of companies still do it

Its just you James! I think its because most regs are 4500psi and that nowhere will full up to 5000psi.

Scion tanks are still 5000psi, but the lack of anyone, anywhere, filling to that pressure means 4500 has become the norm. The sexy black Evil tanks and the older Pure Energy were the only ones around, but no other manufacturers followed suit so they kind of died a death.
