Why I hate E-Bay

E-Bay cancelled my advert for my marker as they say it contravenes their firearms rules. I have explained to them that it can only shoot a paintball, but they won't listen.

Has anyone else had problems, they still have markers advertised, is it personal?

Am soooo angry , aaaaaah!!!

Thats the first ive ever heard of E-bay pulling an ad on a marker..Ive sold three on there in the last six months and never had any problem..Just type in Angel,Autococker,or any type of marker for that matter and hundreds come up...Are u in the States??If not maybe local restrictions prevent it..Otherwise I have no clue..Try posting it again and see what happens....

As already said there are loadsa paintball MARKERS for sale on E-bay....did you word your ad in the "wrong" way, thats the only reason I can think that got you the wrong side of their rules.

Nope, advertised as a marker, didn't even use the word gun.

Have asked for an explanation but all I get is a link to their firearms page.

I to have sold markers on ebay without problem.

Maybe its a new policy.

Did u read the firearms page??

It says:
Blank Guns, replica or imitation, PAINTBALL GUNS and "airsoft" guns MAY be listed provided that:
.the item does not, and cannot be readily altered to shoot a projectile(except paintball or airsoft guns)

.the reciever is not a firearm classified by law...

Check what you wrote again...see if theirs any words that might have prevented it..Other than that it doesnt look like ebay changed their policies so just try to list it again and see what happens...Hope that helps...Are there any laws in your area that classifies your marker as a firearm???

Thats what got me really mad!!!!!

I appealled and they sent me the firearms link, I responded with an explanation of my marker and they haven't replied.

Have now relisted!

I just saw it and it looks good 2 me!! If they reject it again try taking the word marker out of the heading..Thats the only thing i could see as causing a holdup even though it shouldnt...Damn e-bay,damn them 2 hell...

Am I right in saying the emag can fire full auto. If someone told ebay that then they would end the listing (since its illegal). The only reason ebay will ever end a listing is if someone reports it. Its nothing ebay have against you its sad arseholes who have nothing better to do with there time than look at stuff and report you for it. Ebay even have a chat room for these people !!!
They are a pain in the arse I agree. I have had plenty of trouble with them. Ya just gotta live with it.

i saw you ads, looked ok to me, dont see why they pulled it, ive sold at least 3 markers on ebay and even used the word gun rather than marker...think its just ebay being w*nkers.

nice gun by the way, if i had the cash id be tempted myself
