Why all the bickering?

Is it me or is there a greater tendancy for childish bickering creeping into the forum?

Just my 2p worth but I think it is getting really boring. Lets concentrate on important, issues that affect everybody in paintball.

For example ; "What cartoons did you watch as a kid?" and "What sort of hat do you wear?" These are the questions that define our sport.

If people want to call each other names and argue over who called who what please do it elsewhere.

Good humoured amusing banter , yes.

Tossers slagging each other off , no.

Thats it all i have to say.

I made the same point in some of the threads concerned, and in I must say in defence of the 'perpetrators' (for lack of a better word), that they have promised to be more mature.

Damn, I'm starting to sound like my dad, I must be getting old....

I haven't seen too much arguing and insults. The only person that I can remember is the one Radium that likes to stir **** up to entertain himself.

Remember when Posted the thing about the British Media Slandering the US? When I kindly asked to have it deleted cause it was like kicking a dead dog. I was told that this why this forum is called Speak your Brains! But I do agree I have tried my best to pick more enjoyable topics like "What cartoon did you watch as a kid!"

It is a very hard line to follow and this is the nature of the beast, It is a public forum and as such it allows the best and worst people onto it.

In an ideal world the b*tchin would stop but some people hold grudges from one tourney to the next and it builds up and many others seem to get involved, just because they can.

This place seems to be a great place to make friends but also some enemies if you are not careful.

But in answer to the other question,
I don't wear a hat (well occasionaly my diablo baseball cap)
My favorite cartoon is Daffy Duck. (followed by Family Guy for more adult viewing)

And I love Chocolate, Paintball, Radio and my girlfriend but not nessecarily in that order.
