what everyone is forgeting is that it wasnt meant to be tournement paintball.

everyone at my work knows i play paintball and non of them know what the game realy is.
but today they have all been talking about x fire. you could not belive what a good response it has recieved from a nonplaying public.

it wasnt my idea of paintball but it has captured peoples imagination, getting people interested in trying it out.

another thing to remmber is that the show was made as a business investment, not an advert for the paintball.
if we as a comunity get a few more members from it then all well and good.
yes they played fake dead, yes the used real stupid names for equipment and players and yes it was a cheasy game show.
remember it was a kind of sci-fi "GAME SHOW" and it looks more interesting to the viewing public to see someone throw them selfs to the floor when they are "IMULSIFIED" than people just walking off for what most people cant see as a hit.

just my 2 cents

CHEESY BABY!!

Yes it was cheesy, but it was presented in a way that it would be interesting and easy to watch to the general public. I watched it an thought it was quite good, altough I must agree the names of the big guys and girls was crap. But compared to BRAVOS Mission Paintball it was easier to watch for the "Non Paintball Player" Mission Paintball would not appeal to the general public but more to the REC/TORNEY paintball player.

At the end of the day hopefully it will succeed in making poeple interested in Paintball and keeping it well and truly alive.

MMmmmm!!

I agree. Joe public will want to try out paintball....after watching the show but it is aired at 6 o'clock which means only dole scroungers and school kids will see it.

Did anyone notice that the woman playing 'Claws' had big false comedy breasts!!!
