Who is the Oldest UK team still playing?

I think it has to be the "Mayhem" Tigers, or Storm ,as they were around when we formed up for the original 10man Midlands League.

Team Sad established March 26th 1993, 10 years and still going strong.

Tigers formed 1986 according to Pete Martin, so they beat you by about 7 years.

Portsmouth Uni has had a paintball team since 87/88 ish (ok, so back then it was Portsmouth Poly, but still, one of the longer running teams in the country - possibly with the highest turnover of members too )

I wouldn't have thought it was 1986, the first domestic tournament in the UK was the Survival 1988 championships in Hatfield and I don't remember them there.
I may be wrong, perhaps one of the Tigers could put us all right.

Bloody hell, I lived in Hatfield then was only 15 in that year but still how the hell did I miss it? Booze fags or birds probably (or maybe even all three)

I'm sure there was a thread on this subject about the time Banzai, Rushers and NWC disbanded and i think the outcome was Storm as the oldest name....i could be wrong though cos i cant be arsed to find the thread
