Heh-heh, feelin' preeetty smart tonight, I'm going to blame the huge amount of food I ate tonight for the sluggish brain. Quicksilver, they're not ugly guns, they're just front heavy, like a damn VM-68. It'll make ya' buff haulin' one of those around, you should put like a 16" all stainless steel DYE on there if you want more mass in your arms. OK, going to bed now, must sleep off the turkey.

The intimidator has and LCD screen, Low pressure and High pressure regs which makes for more adjustment. They may be off in the looks department but friggin crank. I had a defiant they are awesome also. Impulses rock too, set up verymuch like a defiant. It all depends on the features you want. The intimidators rock though

Personaly having not played with the timmy but most other guns around{fr. Spyders to Angels}. I'd have to say that the Vision Impulse is the best on the market @ the moment. Although I still long to own my very own Eclipse Autococker(WICKED). Now there is a MARKER!!!!!!!

Definitely a Bushmaster!! But one of those sexy little cute ass pimp gun eclipse bushys. Standard ones look cack. And is the impulse as much of a biatch to clean and lube like the shocker?

I'll let you know

Timmy is on order!

I have shot all of the above guns and owned most of them. I had not owned a Timmy though....so I ordered one today.

They fire VERY fast with new board...ask anyone that played Bob's boys at the Cup. Hmm also noticed that 2 Aftershock guys were toting Timmys...Now why would that be??? I assume they liked them enough to play with them!

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder I think they look different...and different is fine with me. Also chopping paint sucks! The ACE helps the Timmy be nice to paint even at insane bps. That is good.

So I may keep it ( at least until some new toy grabs my eye). Heck, I am to old to ever have amazing game but age gives my enough disoposible income to buy toys. But then again I may hate it but I will know for sure.

I'll keep you posted.

Update...

Well I must say that when I opened the package I was quite happy with what my lusting eyes beheld. My new Purple/Blue Intimidator was visually very pleasing. The anno is very nice, deep, solid, and vibrant. The milling and polishing is top notch as well.

The barrel was of interest to my as I had not seen the new Long Shot barrel. Again, I was very impressed. I had heard that they were rough and not well polished. That person must have had a bad example. I found the internal and external polishing on both front and back of the barrel to be very good. I did not have time to "mike" the barrel to check it for tolerances but the visual impression is that this barrel rivals any other barel out there for finish, quality and performance. IT shoots very well.

The one down side was the grip. The design of the grip was VERY comfortable and not at all akward in play. I was surprised by this as it was the one part of the marker I was visually unimpressed by and I was prepared to dislike the grip frame. Much to my surprise I greatly like the grip frame. It is match annoed in the same fade color sheme it is solid aluminum and feels well made. The unique disign gives the maker a nice feel in play. It sure fits my hands. I was, however, not happy with the plastic used for the grip panels. It seems to slick and if you rap it it sounds cheap. I would have prefered to have a some tactilly pleasing plastic composite be used. However, once I put on my gloves this subjective dislike became moot as the plasitc panels provided excellent grip with my neopene palms.

After adding the air system and tweeking the marker to my tastes (trigger, LP Conversion {which comes in the manual}, checking input and cokceing pressures)it was time to put some paint through. All I can say is that this little gem rocks. It was very easy toshoot long accurate strings without thinking about it. In fact I had to re-adjust my trigger since it was to short. I was getting the effect of "full auto fire" from the trigger bounce ..
THis gun shot very fast with very pleasing accuracy right out of the box with a stock barrel and good paint match.

While I did find it a bit "front heavy" as Ravi noted I did not feel it as front heavy as my Matrix. Nothing (not even an Angel balances as well as my favorite cocker) but comparing apples to apples, (Timmy to Matrix) the Timmy is much nicer to play with (IMHO) and I found it very easy to get used to even though my main marker Revenge V2. Again, this is personal opinion but I can not agree with Ravi on this point as I did not find it detraced from play at all.

There is one point I think that Ravi missed mentioning in his review. The Timmy is LIGHT and NARROW! I can not believe how light this marker feels in the hands. It is lighter than my Revenge V2 which is a very light cocker. I found snap shooting with it a breeze. It is also very narrow. While it is tall (though no more so than an Impulse or Bushmater) it's narrow profile allows a smaller target when coming around the side of a bunker.

I put all types of paint through it ranging from nice fresh Marbilizer to old RP. Big Ball, Diablo Blaze and some truly ancient Zap....over 8 months old. While not all this paint shot well....not one ball broke and I put 4000 rounds through the first 2 days. The A.C.E. seems to work well. I was not gentle on the marker and played it hard. I had never shot a marker that fast (with only a Revy) and not turned it into a paint blender. I guess I am not as skilled with other electro marker as other people. I have had and seen all sorts of breaks (chops) in top quality electros even using good paint. If you play tounaments where you MUST use field paint (which can be of questionable quality) then you will love the A.C.E. system. This was a huge plus! My squeege was so lonely as I have ignored it since getting the Intimidator.

I am not sure what more I can say. I have never been a "one gun" guy. Heck, I hate the basic premise that I should quash my lusts and only have one gun. I believe that, " Many toys make Bub a happy boy!" I am not about to got out and sell everything I have and exclusivly play with the Timmy...but unlike, some other markers, I own this Intimidstor will get regualr play in rec ball and tounaments. I guess for practicle purposes I am now a 2 gun guy for tounaments. My custom Revenge V2 and my latest toy.....The Bob Long Intimidator.

PS. The manual was not as bad as I had heard. It was not ound well but was soooo much better than many manual I have gotten with other markers. It had excellent diagrams, instructions and even poplular modifications. So I found the manual very informative and well written...though the binding (a staple) could have been more inspiring.
