which brand of gun is best for rec use?

geez, a very stupid q, u r gonna get several ppl going to say this marker is the best,,,all different POV from other ppl, just try them all m8, but try the tippman 98, there easy to clean, and durable,
but try nething really, u just need an easy to clean,easy to maintain,and a durable marker,

Try out as many different markers as you can to find out which are most comfortable. Then see which ones are in your price range and choose from there. I am fairly new to paintball and I just got an autococker but Spyders, Tippmans or Piranha's are fairly simple and easy to maintain.

Look at second hand automags.
Faster than tippmans, spyders and easier to maintain.

I have owned a Spyder, and an automag.

could get a player pack custom 98 or another good choice is a spyder shutter and even a night raider al of which are good semis and pretty durable

that is a dumb question there are tons i recommend:On the expensive side an automag classic. on the normal there is JT excellerator 3.0, 98 custom, and Rebel bottomline. All good and durable also some what fast. Those can be added to my other listing.

The tippmann prolite is an ok gun, its not the best but it is durable and if you upgrade the barrel its pretty accurate...
