i just got 175 dollars for christmas. and im wondering what the best gun is that i can get for anywhere around 150 dollars

Not sure how much they are in the US, but have a look at the Inferno guns, there good value for money.

i have used all kinds and have owned all kinds........your not gonna continue to be happy with anything that you get for that and eventually you will upgrade so dont spend much for your first.....i would get a spyder compact and accesorize it a little with an expansion chamber and maybe a new barrell like a dye barrell

Tippmann 98. Great beginner gun because it is made tough and can take abuse. Plus it shoots quite well and there are tons of upgrades. Bonus is that is only around $125 so you have $50 leftover for mask, tank, hopper etc... I would suggest buying a Tippmann starter package which includes everything for about $175. Hope that helps.
