Which came first? Piranha or Spyder

I've been seeing a lot of discussions lately about which marker came out first; the PMI Piranha or the Kingman Spyder.

Not that it matters - I'm just curious

If my fading memory serves...A PMI Piranha came out first but it is not the one being sold now. PMI stopped making it and then resurrected the name a few years ago when they brought out their spyder clone.

The original Piranha was a sheridan pump, still available as the PC 68 or similar if memory serves, followed by the Spyder, followed a few years later by the Piranha.
