If you are looking to get a few sponsers for the next season, and you have filled in what seems like a million forms to apply for each company, when abouts do they make up there minds on who they want to sponser for the following season. Only because my captain and i have filled out what seems like a million forms and we are sort of nosie to find out their decisions.

Play hard
Play fair
Play well
Play consistently
Play bucket loads of events
Get your ass noticed

And as long as you have all of them key elements, ram them up the noses of each and every sponsor until they give in!

Trust me it works.

But you must have ALL of the above to prove that u r a good enough advertising tool.

Hope this helps m8tey

It's completely down to the different companies when (if they have a set time), whether and how much they sponsor any team. Don't expect any reply at all either, as many won't even bother! That said, I know many paint suppliers get their annual allocation for sponsorship decided on a calendar year basis. Something else to consider is that most sponsors have a good idea who they want to have using their products and will provisionally allocate stuff for them and their existing sponsored teams. If these preferred teams decide to go elsewhere, THEN other, lower ranked teams will be considered. As you can imagine, this adds up to not expecting to hear anything for quite a while! Be careful about pushing it too far in nagging them, as different people have different tolerance levels for this kind of thing & you may annoy them (& therefore lose a potential deal) if you call them every single week for 6 months.
If you're talking about non-industry sponsorship then your guess is as good as anyone elses!

Sponsorship

We're currently looking through the sponsorship forms that we've received this year but we've had loads more applications than we expected. We were going to release decisions in mid November but due to the amount of forms we have to go through and teams to speak with we may be looking at the end of November instead.

Either way, whether you're chosen for sponsorship / support or not, we will get in touch so you know either way - that's only polite !!

Any other questions about Just Paintball sponsorship, please mail me: info@justpaintball.co.uk

:)

Hey Gill - might have guessed you'd be the first potential sponsor to bother to reply on this thread :) There's no way I would have suggested that you & Jim wouldn't get back to everyone who applied.
speedyg4coalition - cross your fingers & hope these guys pick your team up, they are really nice and as you've no doubt noticed, one of the polite potential sponsors out there.

Thanks Liz.

I know you weren't suggesting we'd not get back to people - I just wanted to back up what you were saying and let teams know that we will get in touch with them as soon as we can either way.

(I'll let Jim know Pinky !!)
