Having shot absolutely loads of different paint i'm just wondering what people think of the various brands.

He's my thoughts

Draxxus: Never seem to know what your getting. Somedays down right awesome (se below) other times its dimpled, and the size varies from ball to ball.

Zap: Always found it to hard, but then again my useage of it is fairly limited. (awesome fill though, you can see people know they got no chance of wiping that stuff off in a game)

RPS: Pretty consistant, nice size, no real dimples good fill etc. Overall like the stuff alot but can be a little pricy.

Severe: Can only go on using it for one tourny in Germany, but that experience left me wanting to use it again. Consistant size, GREAT fill. Even with my dodgy eyesite i knew when i hit people. Overall great first impression.

I realize i've not split down into different types but i can't remember all there names!

For me the best paint i ever shot was some green and white blaze at Birmingham indoor 2002. The flip side of this was some pink and blue blaze at a temple tourney. Without doubt the worst i've ever shot (real banana ball)

So come on people a chance to sing your sponsors praises. What in your opinion is the ultimate tourney ball?

big big titties
WDP: dimples every where, sized from like .683 all the way up to .693, was very brittle though so it broke well:)

Draxxus/Diablo : only used like blaze so far which was good for training, not so good for tournies though as it was a little hard.

RPS: without a doubt the best paint i have used, excellent fill, size, etc etc brilliant!!

ZAP without doubt!!

i dont know what ZAP you used in the past but if you use Chronic Ultimate you will never change back!!

we shot 56,000 at the last Millennium in Dam and the only break we had was an accident in a barrel condom, but the stuff was breaking on the netting at the other end of the field!!!

and man when you hit someone, they and everyone else knows they been hit, what a fill!!!

i know we are heavily sponsored by ZAP, but i can truely say that if i had to pay for paint i would by ZAP Chronic Ultimate regardless of cost!!!!!:D

thanks ZAP we definately tested you paint in Dam, and it came out on top (literaly if you saw what DYNASTY were shooting!....shhh!);)

Paint in the past

I think we used a load of Chronic. That name just about summed it up. I don't mind being shot out, but when someone's shooting marbles my way it tends to get a little painful. as i said above though great fill. Maybe this Ultimate chronic is worth a whirl. What are people retailing it at per box?

I know this is gonna look like I'm just bumping my sponser but Nelson paintballs are the best I've fired, Anarchy is sweet. I've had not problems what so ever and the teams I've played for must of gone through something like 100 boxes of the stuff over this year and there's being nothing wrong with the lot.

the ultimate is very brittle, if you drop a ball from six foot it will break, so it definately dont hurt when you get hit! just watch all the Angels that try and use the stuff, blend, blend, blend!

very sweet, brittle, thick fill, 3x pressure than any other paintball so it explodes on impact! give it a go seriously!

retail - havent a clue, and i cant tell you what our deal is either - sorry!
