Ok I don't know if this is the right place to put this but..... What is the ruling on getting shot on the squeegie? I mean if you are runing along and a ball clips your squeegie, are you out? Its just that it is quite a hard thing to see if you are a marshall, and if they do pick it up how can they tell the difference between paint on the squeegie after you have squeegied your barrel and paint from a shot?

I don't think it's specifically itemized in the rule books because of the sheer improbability of that ever happening, but the way the rest of everything else is addressed the ruling would be as follows. If it is in your possession, it's an attached piece of equipment and thus part of your person. You would be out, but not without both you, the refs, and anyone else watching saying at least three or four times "Geez...that's like, impossible."

I was watching a friend of mine playing in the dorito at a practice a couple of weeks ago and his squeegie was sticking up just enough that a ball caught it.....the ref saw it and pulled him.

He carried it onto the field and it was attached to him when it got shot....and the mark was big enough.... sucked to be him but it was funny as anything

whilst playing in the norwegian masters 2000 an opposing player put his squeegie on the floor to the side of him, we shot it and as it is regarded as part of a players kit he was eliminated. most rules as we all know say the only on field kit you can deliberately discard is your pots, so whether you have the squeegie on you or not should not matter as to your elimination.:) :) :)

You know the tiny plastic zip ties that fasten your players pass to your mask? Well, I saw a guy pulled for a hit on the sticky out bit of one of them.
