whats the pitch of a standard m6 cleat

hi im modding some boots to accept 6mm cleats (havent got the cleats) ive got the boots to mod but not got the cleats (its for someone else)

just wondering, do m6 cleats have a standard m6 thread or are they m6 fine? im not in work till 6am but if someone can help that would be great.

m6 standard is 1mm pitch
m6 fine is 0.75 pitch IIRC

easiest way is to measure how many crests there are across 10mm of thread.
so m6 standard will be 10 crests acros 10mm
m6 fine will be 7.5 across 10mm

if they are running spikes they have a hole of 5mm , if you get 6mm cgolf cleats you need a tap of m7 i think

Are you sure they are M6? iirc golf spikes have UNC threading.

thats what ive been tolld, if there unc thats no problem either. wish he had sent me both items lol but neva mind ill get it done somehow.
