I will be getting a new bottle soon and I am wondering what people reckon is the best reg out at the moment. It is for an Ego so needs to be HP and 4500psi or higher.

The minimaxflo works a treat on mine, excellent reg, excellent price and the macro line comes out exactly where you want it (http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e364/ollgeeze/stand1.jpg) 
only problem is that the tank isnt easily removed ect but it doesnt really fuss me, you dont need to switch tanks to your backup when your primary is an ego anyway, lets face it they never go down

I take it that the mini Max-Flo dosn't Purge the system when you turn off the air supply?
Thinking of going for one these myself.

No it doesnt, you have to shoot the excess gas off. If you have to switch tanks regularly then its not worth getting one, but if you dont then they're deffinitely worth it.
