Go look at secondhand in the for sale section. HPA bottles last 15years and need to be retested(hydro tested) every 5years. Steel bottles are heaviest and start quite low in price. I would go for a fibre wrap bottle. Quite light so balance out on the marker well. Or if your very lucky you my see a carbon fibre composite bottle(fuel or safer type bottles) very very light. Also find out if you marker runs best on HPA or LPA from the reg there are two types of output. So buy a bottle with the right reg for your marker.

Basic questions for yourself are your size (basically your arm size and how you hold the marker) and what air pressures are available where you play, and how you play

Your size/how you hold the marker are a factor that wih the abundance of choice in shapes and sizes you can get a cylinder that is not too short / too long for your reach from shoulder to trigger
Also factor in how fat some cylinders are, particularly short stumpy ones
If you are a tall skinny rake then a stubby cylinder could be too short for you to e comfortable with your grip and too fat to get your face in position
If you are short with little arms then a large cylinder may be too long for grip

How you play and what air pressures you have available are factor that confrm whether you get to use the advantage of fibre wrapped cylinders
If you can only fill at 3000psi then you don't gain the extra capacity to 4500psi
But even at 3000psi you can get more fill in a larger cylinder
However if you play 15 minute games and run light with an efficient marker then you can refill between games and don't need the extra size/pressure capacity

Next question is money
You have £120, but it's halfway through the month
Would waiting to the end of the month make another £30 or so available?
You then have more choice on brand new cylinders
On the other side of that, do you really need fibre based on the questions above, and would an aluminium one do at about £30 new
5 years life at £30 always works out cheaper then fibres and you can keep the balance for paint

On buying second hand you can get bargains but ask questions on condition and age etc
It needs to be viable for you to see how long you have to the next test date, and how much life it had afterwards
Fibre cylinders have a maximum life of 15 years
Most around will have a 5 year test cycle and a retest will be around £25/£30 provided you don't have to post to/from the test centre

Get the next test date & final test date for any second hand cylinder then you can add up life costs and average out the annual cost. Sometimes buying a second hand cylinder has a higher annual cost because the purchase, postage and PayPal fees you pay may not factor in the less life of the cylinder
If not make the seller another offer

When looking for new make sure you check the price is both cylinder & regulator as some are priced separately to give you choice but can look cheaper to he unwary

When deciding on new consider the future
Most markers run well from their own secondary regulator and unless you rip paint will be fine on any cylinder/regulator
But some others such as angels and mags may be best on either a low pressure or higher pressure output regulator
Buy wisely and certain regulators are now user rebuildable and can be converted to low mid an shift pressure outputs
