What would your first choice upgrade be?

I have a stock impulse and I can't wait to get my teeth into uprading the bollocks off it, problem is cash is short so I can only buy bit's at a time. So for people who have got impulses and have upgraded them what has/would be the first few "must have" upgrades be?

I don't have one but I would say if you don't already own a Good Barrel ie; Freak System. I would start there. Then work on the internal stuff that makes the Impy more efficient.

you want a real sweet trigger and frame go for the I-frame, and i know you can pick them up second hand atm! although if you cant afford the pretty steep price tag,

i have heard the blade triggers are quite good

A barrel that suits your paint is a good idea also.

Ok all you mag boys bugger off! Yeah I know lvl 10 is sweet but as I said before money is in short supply and I can't afford the e-mag, the I-Frame is out of the question also. Just for your information sean, it's a standard imp and I run it on 1.1 ltr 3000 nitro duck.

There are some I-frames going second hand at around £100 at the moment I think, well worth getting if you can beg, borrow or steal the money. Delrin bolt is always worth it, but remember to change the hammer at the same time. Really decent barrel is also important, I prefer the Freak because of the flexibility.
But the best upgrade you can do, unfortunately the most expensive as well, is getting the Vision eye fitted (though I'm not sure if you can on the very old ones).

New designs ram shaft, cheap, cheerful and probably the best upgrade you can buy according to Larry form the IOG. But what does he know he only owns 8 custom impulses and helped design two for other companies (Python and Gothic, which both look weird).
