What to buy? A BT delta elite for £110 or a different gun for the same price?

Delta Elite is quite a good marker. with Ripclip and elec trigger already included, you wont need to waste money buying it all seperate.
Ripclip keeping your marker fed with paint and mostly eliminates chops (for myself, never happened) and the elec trigger keeping your ROF faster than mech.

have you looked around at other markers out there? assuming your going woods, maybe look at A5, X7 and Phenom etc.

for me, i just use a normal steelie (a 0.8l aluminium tank with 3000psi reg).

Most players nowadays go for the larger bottles e.g. 4500psi carbon fibre wrap tanks with fills ranging from 0.8l up to 2.0l.
id say its up to you really.

im no expert in this area so im sure someone who knows more will pop up and help :D

honestly, id say different.

they both use similar if not the same internals (the phenom is the one with the different internals, flexvalve) just in different shaped bodies. i would also say they would be just about the same air wise but im no expert there haha.

personally id choose the Delta Elite over the X7 as i like the ripclip over the cyclone (im not convinced the cyclone works on excess air, meaning in my eyes the x7 uses more air overall)

i will say that if you have the option to go for the X7 Phenom then take it :)

Personally I would say the x7 over the delta
I like both the cyclone and the rip clip, but have not used the rip clip much

My x7 has been a workhorse over the years, and comes with the benefit of tippmann techs at many uk events. My x7 only having had any real maintenance 2 or 3 times over the years by the tippmann uk tech. (And of that the first time was to replace the original type cyclone ratchet with a metal upgrade, anything else has only been a quick service)

I have never noticed any air issues from then cyclone, and the only time I had a problem with air capacity was when I was using a 13ci in a limited paint game in a very compact setup - i got good shots per fill except when I 'rapid fired' to cover myself running in the open
