New/Old Design from Warmachine paintball...I've got one of their cards at home...my website will have an interview with the creators of this beast up here pretty soon. It's made by the people behind the Nova 700, and it shares the reciprocating barrel like the 700. When I first fired the thing, I thought it was on a burst setting, but sure enough, it was in semi. The barrel moving back and forth made for a strange feel...nothing like my old Nova 700 at all.

It's a War Machine Assault 80

I met the designers at the World Cup, and they claimed it was better than most other tourney guns out there. It thinkg retails at around $1200, and they claim to have sold around 300 already. to be honest though, can you really see any tourney players turning up at the field with something that looks like a lifesize Action Man toy, called an Assault 80, without being sent home for looking like an idiot?

and surely a barrel that moves a good couple of inches back and forth every time it's fired is gonna make for some pretty crappy accuracy? We're still getting one in for review though, but we will be at the next tournament in disguise so we don't get beaten up
