how can i tell what style of A.I.R. i,ve got new or old.i got it a few months back of the boards

The newer style has a domed capp on front of the reg where you adjust the output pressure.

Look at the round part on the front of the air where you adjust the pressure. If this is flat it is old, if it is domed it is the newer style

the output adjustment allen bolt is surrounded by a disc with two holes which is flush with the rest of the A.I.R. body, i take it this is the older style

The only difference i believe is the range of operating pressures between the 2 models...

Although now you can get it converted with the accessories by WDP...

If you want to run an older AIR LP, you can re-arrange the spring stack and it's supposed to work fine. Or you could buy the upgrade kit.
