What marker should i buy with the money saved from after Christmas, i will have £550-600 ($800-900) I cant save anymore money towards a marker as i might want an Aprilla/moped at the moment so no posts that say "save" i allready have the black magic in mind.

OH has anyone seen the price of the SFL cockers's at paintball-online its a blow out price for last three (i think they are $700-800) if i had the money now i would buy one:(

Get out there & ask anyone & everone if you can have a try of their markers, to see which suits you best. Everyone is different & so will prefer the feel of one marker or another, & it's no good getting the one your mate likes best, it's YOU who will be shooting it not them.
As an example, personally I just can't seem to get on with cockers, though 2 of the other girls in my team adore theirs & loathe the feel of my Angel, and the one that's tried it hates the Impulse as well. Another girl however switches quite happily from her old-style mag to the Dark Angel with no problems, & loved the Impulse the time she borrowed it.

And do consider a decent quality second hand marker. You can get an awful lot more for your money that way.

ive heard some horror stories about the black magic autococker. just about niggley little problems due to their design.

if youve got the money, you can pretty much have a decent version of ANY marker on the market.
a Tricked up Impulse vision (sweet marker)
a prebuilt upgraded Autococker (accurate as hell)
... and any other marker that takes your fancy.

Do try out whatever marker you really want before putting your money on the counter.

but always consider second hand, you can get some awsome markers hellish cheap if you have the money at the right time.

If you want a Sweet 2nd hand cocker, speak to Dangerous Brian (theres that name again) he has more go through his hands than most, simply cos people like the way he works on them. (he works for belsales.)
Hope that helps

for that kind of money you have loads of choices, but your best off narrowing your search a little by trying a few guns and seeing what you do and dont like.

for 600 you could get a good brand new gun or if you look about you could pick up an excelllent 2nd hand deal....600 would prob get you a top of the range cocker, or you could pick up a cheaper cocker and do it up a bit....for eg. spend 300 on a cocker thats a couple years old and bring it up to date. woulnt be too hard to find something that would leave you enoght cash to get an e-blade fitted....ok it prob wouldnt look as pritty cosmetically as some of the newer cockers but would shoot great. or you would prob get your hands on a nice impy for 600. or a shocker and have a bit of cash left over to get some bits

first thing to do is try a few guns...ask people to try theirs or go down to a shop and chat to them...planet in manchester for eg are more than happy to let you fiddle and explain stuff to you

hope that helps

ps: good luck!
pps: might have an evo cocker for sale in a couple of days....around the 250 mark add an eblade and upgrade the ram stick a hopper on and still have change!

The Black magic suffers from over fancification.
in other words, it starts off like a stock cocker, then gets upgraded part by part. then sold.
Problem is, not all the parts like being in the same marker so to speak.
They arent best quality, and you could spend your money better.
As ive said somewhere else. if you like cockers, and want something pretty sweet outa the box, try the Outcast. Whack a Blade trigger (e-blade if ya can) and your laughing.
